The new LP4 meter from FEMA, a simple solution for process signals in 4/20mA. Using a standard 96x48mm (1/8 DIN), it features a particular reading characteristic: a 7 segment red led display together with a loop powered instrument.
Usual loop powered meters mount a standard LCD crystal screen, offering reduced visibility and contrast. The LCD screen is a requirement due to the low consumption required by loop powered applications.
At FEMA we have developed the LP4 loop powered meter together with LED type reading, offering a bright and clear reading display, when compared to other conventional LCD equipments.
With the LP4 you can provide with local information to any installation currently in operation, by simply cutting the signal loop and adding the LP4 to your existing signal wires, with a minimal intervention in the normal operation of the system.
Configurable from its front key pad, it offers a simplified scaling menu, as well as different tools and useful functions for easy and fast installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.Example of these tools are the “Field correction” functions, to adapt the meter to the real signal of our field. The “Measure” function, to read the value of the input signal without need of additional measurement equipment. Or the “Square Root” function, to integrate the meter with flow applications based on differential pressure signals.The LP4 also includes the usual FEMA functions: fast access to configured functions, password, display filters, “STEPS” function, and it can be manufactured with other FEMA options such as NBT (without front keypad), optional full IP65 housing, and our range of mechanical accesories for 96×48 meters …. 50 years of experience included in the LP4.
