FEMA Model I4L – Load Cell Signal Converter and Isolator
The I4L extends FEMA's I4 converter series to load cells, tension and force sensors and general mVdc signals, joining the I4E (electrical signals) and I4P (process and temperature).
It supplies +5 Vdc excitation to the load cell and automatically compensates for variations; excitation voltage and current can be checked on the front display. Bipolar ranges up to ±80 mV and a pure millivoltmeter mode cover virtually any weighing application, with tare and field correction (Fcor) built in.
Like the whole I4 series it has a universal 18–265 V AC/DC supply, front display, code-based quick setup with advanced scaling, Force functions to test downstream wiring before the sensor is connected, and an SOS mode that holds a set output during sensor failure.
