Wireless, energy-harvesting sensors remove inspection blind spots by watching continuously. Problems are flagged before they become failures, protecting both assets and the people who work around them.

Brand partner
Wireless condition monitoring sensors
Thirteen battery-free sensors, three gateways and a local HMI — stocked and supported in Singapore by Controsys.
Zhuhai Yado Sensor Technology Co., Ltd, founded in 2002 in Zhuhai, China, makes wireless, energy-harvesting IoT sensors that monitor the condition of power infrastructure — switchgear, cable joints, transformers and more. It designs and builds its sensors in its own digital factory and supplies original R&D to partners including Schneider Electric.
Controsys supplies Yado sensors with the concentrators, gateways and panel HMI that bring the readings into your Modbus or cloud monitoring system, for utilities, plants and switchgear builders. See the full product range or the Controsys home page for our panel-building services.
Why Yado

Wireless, energy-harvesting sensors remove inspection blind spots by watching continuously. Problems are flagged before they become failures, protecting both assets and the people who work around them.

Fewer manual inspections and less maintenance cut operating cost, while avoiding outages, production disruption and expensive repairs or replacements.
Self-powered temperature sensing
Battery-free sensors that clip, screw or bolt onto joints, terminations and breaker contacts.

A coin-sized wireless temperature sensor that clips onto critical electrical connection points and powers itself from the current-carrying conductor, with no battery to replace.

A self-powered temperature sensor shaped as a cap nut that screws straight onto exposed bolt threads at medium- and high-voltage connections.

A wireless sensor that sits inside the insulation plug of an elbow connector and tracks the temperature inside the connector in real time.

A battery-free sensor that binds onto cable joints without invasive work and monitors temperature at several points along the splice.

A battery-free temperature and current sensor designed for continuous monitoring of circuit breaker contacts.

A bolt-format sensor that generates its own power from heat and monitors the temperature of the electrical connection it fastens.

A contact-free, self-powered temperature sensor that attaches to equipment with a magnetic base or adhesive pad and harvests energy from ambient light.

A clamp-on sensor that takes its power from the cable it measures, reading both temperature and current.
Beyond temperature
Partial discharge, condensation, SF6, bolt preload and analogue-gauge digitising.

A self-powered sensor that watches both partial discharge and temperature at cable terminations, with diagnosis performed on the sensor itself.

A wireless humidity and temperature sensor that works out dew point on the device to flag condensation risk inside electrical enclosures.

Turns an existing SF6 gauge reading into digital, real-time monitoring by measuring both SF6 pressure and moisture content.

A self-powered sensor for continuous monitoring of bolt preload pressure on critical joints that otherwise need frequent manual checks.

A camera-based unit that digitises existing mechanical gauges without modifying them, reading the dial with AI on the device and sending the value wirelessly.
Collect & transmit

A DIN-rail unit that gathers readings from Yado wireless sensors and either converts them to Modbus RTU or repeats the signal to extend coverage.

A communication management terminal that collects data from concentrators over RS485 Modbus RTU, or directly from wireless sensors, and presents it as Modbus TCP over Ethernet.

A self-powered gateway that collects wireless sensor data and sends it to the cloud, with no wiring needed at the install point.
On-panel HMI

A 4-inch industrial smart display that mounts on a switchgear panel and shows live data, analysis and alarms from the wireless sensors.

About Yado
Yado, based in Zhuhai, China, has made sensors for power infrastructure since 2002. It designs and builds them in its own digital factory, backed by more than 100 patents, and says it is the most recognised brand in China’s power grid.
Why buy through Controsys
Common lines are held in stock, with offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.
We build Yado components into complete annunciator, mimic and control panels.
Installations can be modified, extended or upgraded as your requirements change.
Most Yado temperature sensors power themselves from the electric field, magnetic induction, heat or ambient light, so they need no battery replacement; some models keep a backup battery for periods with no current.
Sensors report wirelessly to a Yado concentrator, which converts the data to Modbus RTU, and a modular gateway can present it as Modbus TCP over Ethernet; a self-powered IoT gateway sends data to the cloud.
Send model numbers, quantities and your application — we reply with availability, pricing and technical advice.
